On 28th and 29th of June 2018 Interreg MED and Interreg SUDOE have organized advocacy bootcamp in Faro, Portugal on the topic of lobbying.
Ms Ivana Ostoic, represented PEGASUS project on the event. Around 50 participants from MED and SUDOE (program area consist of Spanish Autonomous Communities, southwest regions of France, continental regions of Portugal, Gibraltar and Principality of Andorra) program. Main goal of the bootcamp was to present tools for advocacy for projects.
On the first day participant attended workshop on “Building advocacy strategy and creating project narrative” – presenters showed through examples how to build a project story and create appropriate strategy.
On the second day 2 EU lobbyst talked about influencing policy makers, effective tools and their experiences. Each participant had to create their own advocacy strategy for its own project and had 2 minutes “elevator pitch” to present the project results to others.
